Our $3M Seed Round To Transform Sales Recruiting Using AI-powered Job Simulations

Take2 AI is an AI-powered job simulation platform for sales recruiting. We started Take2 AI with the mission of reinventing how companies recruit talent for high volume sales roles – roles that are extremely hard to hire for, and that account for roughly 14% of all jobs in the U.S.

Employers hiring for these roles spend countless hours reviewing applications and struggle to effectively vet the viability of candidates. This results in high short-term attrition – 1 in 3 sales people churn each year, 3x more than any other occupation, and every bad sales hire costs companies over $100,000 & 4 months to fill.

We help companies solve this problem by generating tailor-made simulations of real-world sales scenarios that vet job applicants for skills, behavioral attributes and culture fit. By leveraging generative AI, we recreate company & role specific sales scenarios that not only immerse job applicants in the role, but also provide high-signal performance data to employers — a game changer for high-volume sales roles. Our approach leads to higher quality of hire, reduced mis-hires and improved retention.

Today, we are excited to announce our $3m seed round led by ReachCapital SemperVirens, with participation from Honeystone Ventures, J4 Ventures, Moai Capital, Manousos Investments, Techstars, Gurtin Ventures, Sequoia Capital Scout Program, The Stanford GSB 2021 Fund and HR leaders from Visa, Disney, HP & Google.

OUR VISION FOR TAKE2 AI

Our founders, Kaushik Narasimhan and Yaniv Shimoni, met at Stanford Graduate School of Business. They started Take2 AI based on insights from research on skills-based hiring they conducted at Stanford.
